DATE:

April 13 – October 13, 2025

Within the “HEY DAY OF CIVILIZATION” concept, we approached TÜRKİYE’s EXPO 2025 communication through a historical perspective spanning from past to present. We emphasized that our nation’s cultural heritage stands as a valuable legacy and a lasting assurance for the future.

Hosting over 1.2 million visitors, the TÜRKİYE Pavilion was designed in full integration with the overarching concept, drawing inspiration from our geographical and cultural richness and symbolically bringing together the sun and the moon.

The Ertuğrul Frigate installation, representing the historical foundation of the centuries-long friendship between TÜRKİYE and Japan, emerged as one of the most compelling and highly visited focal points of the pavilion.

As part of the event, dance choreographies representing Türkiye’s historical eras were staged, creating a powerful narrative that conveyed the country’s cultural continuity through the performing arts.

The digital welcome screen, enriched with visual and digital content introducing Türkiye’s cultural, geographical, and social identity, functioned as an innovative visual chronology reflecting Anatolia’s historical richness. The visual narratives spanned a wide spectrum extending to Türkiye’s contemporary dynamism, offering visitors a comprehensive understanding of the country’s multi-layered character.
